　　The Department of Atmospheric and Earth Sciences in the University of Alabama in Huntsville(UAH)(https://www.uah.edu/science/departments/atmospheric-earth-science)ranks the top 15 atmospheric science programs in the United States.We are seeking two PhD students to perform laboratory and field observations on atmospheric chemistry under the supervision of Prof.Shanhu Lee.For detailed information about our research program,visit the Atmospheric Chemistry Group website(https://sites.google.com/uah.edu/shanhulee).

　　Specifically,our current projects aim to understand atmospheric aerosol formation and growth processes,via laboratory studies and field observations.We utilize a series of the state-of-art instrumentation:including HrTOF-CIMS(or CI-APi-TOF),LC-ESI Orbitrap mass spectrometer,and aerosol instruments(PSM and SMPS).

　　An MS degree(in chemistry,chemical/environmental engineering,or atmospheric science),strong experimental and computing skills,and prior research experiences in the relevant fields are required.These are fully funded projects-the GRAs will be paid stipends of about$28,000 per year,in addition to full tuition(about$18,000 per year).
