本次听力考试话题大多是同学们比较熟悉的内容，比如天文，艺术史，建筑学等内容大家在平时的练习中应该都有听过做过，海洋生物，行星和造桥等内容都是大家相对比较熟悉的。所以话题难度不大。
考试建议
备考时要注意就常考的学科进行巩固练习，熟悉常见的高频的学科词汇，做题过程中多思考多积累，注意分析和复盘文章结构，把听力文章听精听透，关注自己的短板学科进行强化练习，思考错题原因避免再做题时反复摔跟头，强化薄弱环节，夯实词汇，提高句子理解能力和对文章结构的把握能力。

听力：
女生不同意
1.不会太高效，因为学校不大，而且也没看到有多少学生在车上下载上课用的材料，他们可能会用wifi下载音乐，这违背了设置wifi的目的。
2.不是很公平，有些不那么大众的路线也有一些宿舍。虽然住的人少但还是还是有人的，如果是为了WiFi而取消掉一些校车，没必要。托福口语
Task 3:
阅读：
合资企业：公司将利用其现有技能与其他公司合并以提供新服务。具体的方法，就是把现有的公司的技术，与另外一家的公司的技术相混合。
听力：
电视新闻公司想提供在线新闻服务，但他们不具备技术技能，他们与另一家科技公司合并;然后他们的产品在消费者中很受欢迎，并且从广告中获得了很多好处，这降低了两家公司的成本。
Task 4:
听力：生活在海洋中的植物适应光合
例子：增加颜色(印记，应该是用来感光的）在它们叶子的上部，这样能够吸收更多的光。
第二个是增大叶片总面积去吸收CO2。

今天的独立题为老题重现，不仅2020年考过多次，就连今年的10月9日也出现了一模一样的原题，ETS出题还是在用那套它喜欢的套路。之前带大家总结过支持的原因，今天笔者选择不同意来进行回答，理由如下：1.很多学生对写作不感兴趣，因为写作很难而且和他们将来的工作没什么太大的关系。在没有兴趣的情况下学一门将来不需要的课程，学生会缺乏学习动力，并且把作业和上课当作是一种苦差和烦人的事儿，这样他们根本就学不好写作技能。2.大一学生的时间和精力是有限的，如果他们要挤出时间去学习对将来没什么用的写作课，完成相关的作业，那这可能会影响他们在其他重要专业课程上的表现。
综合题：适中
今天学术题考场考生们反应有些偏难，大家在总结答案时可以结合答题结构和自己理解到的信息进行语言组织，沉着应对答题。

1.虽然本场考题内容回忆较少，但是旧题比例超高。三篇文章在往年考题记录中都有据可循，整体难度不大，希望参加了本次考试的考生都能拿到满意的分数。
2.从已有的考场信息来看，选题素材依然比较常规，对考题熟悉的考生仍然占据优势。除了常规的生物话题外，提醒对考频不占前列的话题如地质地理、经济人文等细分话题的复习，注意结合相似文本补充完善对学科背景的认识。
3.词汇题有待补充，提醒重点复习近3年的考场词汇。

Hundreds of years ago,the suburban population far exceeded the city population around the world.ln the past hundred years,however,city population skyrockets.More and more suburbs have developed into cities,and more and more immigrants chose to flow into cities.True,this rapid growth of city indeed has brought innumerable benefits to the society.Nevertheless,l still believe that its negative impacts should never be overlooked.
Firstly,the increasing population brings about severe competition.Because the resources are always limited,the competition intensifies as more people want them.Nowadays,more and more undergraduates are worrying about finding jobs,some of whom even had to start to look for dream companies the moment they began college life,which was very rare in the past.While for the working groups,many of the people are also concerned about suddenly being fired one day because of the competition and limited spots.The unemployment issue has become one of the biggest problems in many countries,leading to strikes,riots and social disorder in countries like France and Greece.In fact,the competition not only happens in labor markets-it extends to the market of goods and services.Whenever there is a sale,there will always be huge crowds.Sometimes the scenario becomes so extreme that people are stepping on others'feet and dragging others'clothes just for purchasing a pair of shoes.Because of this high demand caused by the increasing population,the average price level is also driven up.People nowadays have to spend times of money to buy the same goods than several years ago-while the wages are often raised in a much lower rate.Therefore,l believe,with more immigrants competing for the same jobs and goods and services,issues like unemployment and inflation are inevitable results.
Secondly,another crucial problem related to the rapid growth of cities is environmental damage,and this can be reflected from various perspectives.As industrialization becomes more mature,more factories are built,more machinery is introduced,and more wastes are resulted.However,the corresponding waste disposal system is still not widely employed because its high implementation cost and complicated process.As a result,many factories just randomly dispose of the waste onto empty fields,overlooking the fact that many wastes will not be dissolved over time but will lead to great environmental damage like soil erosion.On the other hand,with more and more people owning automobiles,the greenhouse gases emitted by cars also have also skyrocketed these years.These greenhouse gases are trapped inside the earth,causing global warming,contributing to many consequences including animal extinction,sea level rise,and many unexpected natural disasters.These environment damages,if prolonged,may lead to unimaginable results-it may even threaten human survival.Therefore,l believe that the expansion of cities,if not accompanied by environmentally friendly ways of living,will yield great negative social impacts.
Admittedly,the growth of cities also yields many benefits.With technological development,our lives have been much more convenient and connected.We can talk to friends and relatives living across the ocean anytime we want and we can purchase all we need through a click on the screen.It is no denying that our living quality is improved.Nevertheless,I believe these benefits should not be an excuse for the enormous negative impacts of city growth.We must pay attention to these severe problems and try to come up with solutions,or the future will be not only uncertain but also dim.
In conclusion，based on the current situation-because of the unemployment,inflation and the irreversible environmental damage brought by city expansion,l believe the rapid growth of cities brings more harm than benefits.
