对于很多同学来讲，写作的难点就是短期内提升语言表达的难题。其实不然，GRE写作考察的侧重点其实是我们的逻辑（因为语言质的飞跃是很难在短期内实现的）GRE写作

写作逻辑又有两种主要的考察形式：考生对题目本身的理解以及句间、段间的逻辑联系。这里我们主要来探讨一下：如何通过遣词造句来提升我们句间和段间的逻辑感。但在此要强调，遣词造句并不以为这我们要提升语言的表达难度，而是注意核心词汇的选择。

首先，我们拿Argument来举例子。很多同学会使用firstly,secondly,lastly来连接自己的三个中心段落。但事实上，这三个词都不够恰当。

因为它们代表的是并列的三个点或事件，而Argument中的三个中心段落是递进的关系，不是并列关系。

因此我们会建议同学使用accordingly,based on,furthermore,in addition等可以表示递进，或进一步推导这样意思的关系词（包括连词和关系副词）

14.The following appeared as part of an article in a business magazine.

"A recent study rating 300 male and female Mentian advertising executives according to the average number of hours they sleep per night showed an association between the amount of sleep the executives need and the success of their firms.Of the advertising firms studied,those whose executives reported needing no more than 6 hours of sleep per night had higher profit margins and faster growth.These results suggest that if a business wants to prosper,it should hire only people who need less than 6 hours of sleep per night."

Write a response in which you examine the stated and/or unstated assumptions of the argument.Be sure to explain how the argument depends on these assumptions and what the implications are for the argument if the assumptions prove unwarranted.

在这道题目中，作者根据一系列的推导得出了一个结论：我们需要雇佣睡眠时间少于6个小时的人。这个结论我们可以作为的第三个核心段落来攻击。

为了和前面的中心段落形成有效的联系，我们可以这么说：

Based on above assumptions,the author suggests that the company should hire people who sleep less than six hours.However,his or her recommendation is not feasible.

通过based on这个词组，我们就可以把这个中心段落和前面的逻辑错误搭建起逻辑联系，同时对原文的内容进行同义改写。GRE备考

接着，我们来看看Issue中我们应该怎么提升语言的逻辑感？和Argument不同，Issue中常见的是并列逻辑，但是firstly这样词同样不是我们的最优选。

因为firstly，secondly可以联系完全没有关系的论点，但是我们issue中的论点都是通过同一种拆分方式拆出来的分论点，它们之间是着紧密的关系。

那么我们具体应该怎么做呢？依然拿一道题库中的题目来举例子

4 Scandals are useful because they focus our attention on problems in ways that no speaker or reformer ever could.

假如我们现在写第二个中心段落，我们可以这么说：

In the field of politics,scandals are also more powerful than speakers.

一个also，就可以把上下两段连接起来。怎么样？有没有很容易。当然，和also作用相近的词我们都可以用来做同义替换。GRE写作逻辑

总结

其实逻辑感的提升和语言表述的难易程度没有什么必然的联系，通过精心选择一些“小词”，我们文章的整体就会得到极大的提升。
